Mum's Wrong

Welcome to the adult world! 14-year-old Anouk embarks on a weeklong internship at the insurance company where her mother (Émilie Dequenne) works. Given nothing more to do than re-organise a storage closet, she observes the petty cruelties of office life: gossip, power games and banal humiliations. Her pity for a young Moroccan mother refused compensation leads her to uncover a web of corporate unethical practices, in which her mother is enmeshed. The experience soon puts a seal on her young life.
